Your Say - the Monthly Poll by E-Inspire

Sebastian Coe
Wiped from existence - all marks would be gone for good
With each and every issue of E-Inspire you can get your say on a range of questions. Make sure you register your vote with our monthly poll below

Last month we asked you to vote on which of our female 800m athletes would be boarding the plane to Beijing.

You voted and the result was:

Jenny Meadows          65.6%

Marilyn Okoro             15.6%

Becky Lyne                 6.2%

Emma Jackson             6.2%

Vicky Griffiths              3.1%

Amanda Pritchard         3.1%

This month – The Year Zero

Should we wipe the records clean and start again with athletics performance? With a small number of athletics marks set during times when anti doping measures in the sport weren't as strict as they are now - some people suggest wiping all athletics records from the books and starting again - effectively making it a "year zero"

On the plus side some dubious marks will be erased from the books - on the down side the long standing marks set by the likes of Jonathan Edwards in the triple jump would also be binned in the process.
