Norma Blaine celebrates her 2007 award with Lynn Davies and Katharine Merry

Don’t miss your chance to be part of a star-studded night of athletics awards and celebration as the 2008 Athletics Awards Evening takes place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.

The popular event, which this year will take place on Saturday 29 November gives UKA the opportunity to reward and recognise the invaluable input of people from across the athletics community, from coaches to officials, athletes to club volunteers.

The evening, sponsored by Heidsieck & Co Monopole Champagne, will see the winners of the regional and home country awards vying for the UK title and national recognition of their work within the sport.

Olympic and Paralympic athletes will be there to celebrate our grassroots achievements, and as always the evening promises to be a fun packed night.
