Endurance Officials are now able to download Endurance Officials Level 2 Logbook Resources as part of their ongoing training and development. The resources will also facilitate officials working through level 2a to 2b and level 2b to 2c of the Endurance Officials Pathway.
The table below details what is required of an official who holds either a 2a or 2b licence after re-alignment, looking to work from 2a to 2b and from 2b to 2c (all modules are self assessment/distance learning modules, no attendance is required for 2b or 2c modules);

· Complete 6 in competition experiences
·Completion of the 2 compulsory Level 2b Modules found as part of the Endurance Officials Level 2 Logbook. These are self assessment modules and study.

· Completion of 1 of the remaining 4 optional modules within the level 2 syllabus (making a total of 3 modules studied at Level 3)
o Race Referee
o Start/Finish Director (Basic)
o Race Director (Basic)
o Course Director/Clerk of Course (Basic)
· (Note: if the race referee module is completed the Risk Assessment Course must be attended in order to obtain a Level 2b licence and be able to referee local/club races)
· Attendance at a Risk Assessment Course (delivered by the respective home country)

Candidates will also need to ensure that they have read and understood the Health and Safety Guidance Sheet for Endurance Officials (this can be acknowledged on your annual record of experience form).
For officials looking to work from 2b to 2c, the following guidance is applicable;

·A further 10 in competition experiences
·1 positive report on the official’s competency from a senior race official to be included within the Endurance Officials Level 2 Logbook.
·Completion of the following modules within the level 2 syllabus
o Race Referee
o Start/Finish Director (Basic)
o Race Director (Basic) or Course Director/Clerk of Course (Basic)
·Attendance at a Risk Assessment Course (delivered by the respective home country) if not yet attended. The Risk Assessment Course must have been completed by the time an application for a Level 2c Licence is made.
·Submission of the completed Level 2 Logbook to the endurance official’s representative within the home country/area.
