The 2010 UKA Officials Conference will take place on Sunday 18th April 2010 at the St. John's Hotel, Solihull. Registration is now open. The conference is free for all licensed officials. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and there are 300 places available.
The Title of this years conference is;
'Do Computers Bite? An overview of the use of Technology in Track and Field and Endurance Athletics'
Our keynote speaker is Geoff Miller from the English Cricket Board (ECB) who will speak about his opinion on the use of Technology in Cricket.
The Conference workshops are being held in discipline groups this year with one discussing technology within each discipline and the other, allocation of duties at events from Grassroots to International level.

Pre-Conference Social Event
For the first time UKA are also hosting a pre-conference Officials Social Evening on Saturday 17th April 2010 at 7pm. We have strictly 50 places available for this event and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The social evening will be a quiz and a three course evening meal with a chance to socialise with colleagues in a relaxed environment. There is no charge for the evening. Accommodation on a B&B basis is available for the subsidised rate of £49 single or £59 double/twin at the St Johns Hotel for those who are successful in securing a place at the social evening.
