UK Women’s Premier League, Lee Valley, August 6
Marilyn Okoro (Coach: Ayo Falola) narrowly missed UKA’s 800m A standard for Daegu of 1:59.80 at Crystal Palace but she returned the next day to run a solo 1:59.53 at Lee Valley. Running the first 400m in under 58 seconds, she confirmed her continuing fitness gains to consolidate her position in second place in the McCain Power of Ten rankings.
Eden Francis (Coach: Glenys Morgan) achieved her second discus UKA B (59.50m) standard with a personal best 59.78m and division record and that put her second in the McCain Power of Ten rankings.

Following his fall in the Aviva UK trials 600m, Mukhtar Mohammed (Coach: Mustafa Mohamed) won in a big personal best of 1:45.90 to put him third in the McCain Power of Ten rankings and run inside the UKA B standard for Daegu of 1:46.30.
