The 2009 UKA Heroes Project sponsored by Original Source launched just last week at the Bedford International Games on 31 May but has already had a huge impact for the 15 lucky athletes involved.
Regional newspapers have picked up on the fantastic opportunity given to the athletes for the outdoor season, with each offered financial support by UKA sponsors Original Source.
Widespread coverage of the project includes: Izzy Jeffs, who appeared in her local press This is North Devon,
Alan McKie made a splash on the lead page of the Bucks Free Press website.
Sarah Holt featured in the Yorkshire based publication the Telegraph and Argus.
North East Hero Laura Weightman made headlines in the Northumberland Gazett.
