EUROPEAN INDOORS: AVIVA GB & NI UPDATE

Chris Tomlinson (Newham & Essex Beagles) has withdrawn from the Aviva Great Britain & Northern Ireland team which will compete at the European Indoor Championships in Turin, Italy this weekend.

Head Coach Charles van Commenee said: "Chris has an Achilles problem which hasn't recovered after competing in Prague last week."

Tomlinson said: “The indoors season hasn’t quite progressed as I would have liked and I’m not in the right shape to do myself justice in Turin. I will focus on getting fit for my warm weather training stint in San Diego and onwards for the outdoor season."
