age group championships qualification opportunity

A 10,000m qualification opportunity for athletes targeting the European Junior Championships (Tallinn, Estonia) and European Under-23 Championships (Ostrava, Czech Republic) this summer has been incorporated into the North West Region Track & Field Championships on Sunday 12 June at Longford Park, Trafford.

This is not a Trial event, but an opportunity for athletes targeting these Championships to achieve their respective qualification standards:

European Juniors Championships (Tallinn, Estonia, 21-24 July 2011)

• Men: 31:20

European Under-23 Championships (Ostrava, Czech Republic, 14-17 July 2011)

• Men: 29:35

• Women: 34:15
