UKA and England Athletics Coaching leads Kevin Tyler and Richard Wheater have announced two opportunities to train with hurdles coach Gary Winckler next week.
Winkler – one of the world’s most foremost hurdles coaches - will be speaking at all three England Athletics Coaching Conferences this winter but he is also leading a session at both Lee Valley and Loughborough during the intervening week.
He will be at Loughborough on Tuesday 1 December and Lee Valley on Thursday 3 December.
The sessions are open to both coaches and athletes and will be run in a ‘clinic’ form looking at sprint hurdles.
Gary will target the session at the needs of the coaches present and will spend some time both theoretically and some time practically. Coaches are welcome to bring a maximum of 2 athletes each with an overall limit of 15 athletes in each session.
They need to name the athletes they will be bringing when registering for a place. Bookings must be made via zweeks@englandathletics.org
The sessions will start at 6:45pm and some light refreshments will be provided. The sessions are free.
