Essential Information for spectators visiting the Alexander Stadium
event summary

Enjoy a family day out at this summer’s Aviva European Trials & UK Championships at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium on 25, 26 and 27 June. There’s plenty for everyone to enjoy alongside three days of top class athletics.

Phillips Idowu and Jessica Ennis both translated Birmingham success into global gold last season.  Idowu took the national title in the triple jump and then followed that up with gold at the World Championships on Berlin while Ennis won both the high jump and hurdles on day three of the trials before going on to be crowned heptathlon World Champion in August.   Jenny Meadows was pipped to the national title by Jemma Simpson in the 800m, but she bounced back to claim a memorable bronze medal in Berlin. Who will rise to the challenge in 2010 on their road to European glory? Make sure you’re there to find out!
