The Competitions and Events Directorate is responsible for the following key areas:

• To provide strategic leadership to the development and delivery of a comprehensive major competition and events programme in the UK and internally, including hosting international events.
• To deliver a new events series that represents and supports UKA’s objectives, promoting the sport as modern and accessible to a new audience as well as existing athletes, fans and sponsors.
• To create an innovative and successful approach to event management with broadcasters, including attracting new partners.
• To deliver top quality support to the full range of competitions and events at all levels.
• Work with home countries to develop and deliver a successful comprehensive programme of domestic competition and events.
