Professional Achievements:

Kelly retired from athletics in 2012 and since then has been engaged in many volunteering aspects of the sport.

She is a coach, team manager and committee member at her local athletics club.

She is a mentor on a young athletes programme for British Athletics and is currently the athlete representative on British Athletics Anti-Doping Committee.

She is a member of the SPTT (sports people’s think tank), a group that raises issues in and around sport and applies academic research to help find solutions. In her quest to use her knowledge and skills in sports administration, Kelly has completed further learning and has gained her Corporate Governance Certificate (ACGP) and graduated from UK Sports International Leadership programme.

Kelly continues to do media work alongside her sports administration and volunteering work and continues her inspirational and motivational speaking to many varied audiences.
