UKA Supplements position statement

The ballot papers for the election have now been issued to club Secretaries by the Electoral Reform Society (30 September).

Three candidates have been nominated for the election of one representative member for Clubs on to the UK Members Council.

The three candidates are:

  •  Grace Hall
  •  David Paver
  •  Anthony Shiret

The deadline for receipt of ballot papers is noon on Monday 16 November 2015.

The outcome of the election will be published on www.britishathletics.org.uk  after the 2015 Annual General Meeting of UK Athletics Limited, which takes place on Friday 4 December.

The UK Members Council plays a vital role in scrutinising the activities of UKA and its board members, acting on behalf of affiliated clubs and organisations.  Members of the Council are elected or nominated, dependent on the sector of the sport they represent.  Elected members serve a four year term of office and are eligible to serve a maximum of two terms of four years of office.
