12 March 2010

With the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Doha (12-14 March) and the McCain UK Cross Challenge Final and World Cross Trials at Cofton Park, Birmingham (13 March), the UK is set for an action-packed weekend of athletics.

Fans can follow the fortunes of the Aviva Great Britain and Northern Ireland team – including World heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis who is going for gold in the pentathlon on Saturday (13 March) – at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Qatar online at www.Telegraph.co.uk/athleticslive thanks to the support of UKA’s number one sponsor Aviva who has partnered the Telegraph Media Group for the exclusive online streaming of the event.

Cross country fans can watch all the action from the McCain UK Cross Challenge Final and World Cross Trials, where all eyes will be on 2009 European Cross Country Championships silver medallist Mo Farah as he battles for victory with defending champion Andy Vernon, on Sky Sports 4 from 11am on Saturday (13 March).

Alternatively, UKA will be providing coverage from Cofton Park in the form of live text commentary – available online at www.uka.org.uk or by following UKA on Twitter at www.twitter.com/UKA_athletics.

A full report will follow post event.
