Poole Round the Houses 10km, December 26 
Louise Damen, who led Britain’s senior women home in the European Championships gained her seventh victory in this event and set a new course record of 33:22 though that ranks her just 14th in the very competitive Power of ten women’s rankings for 2012.

Lotto Cross Cup, Brussels, December 23
National  U15 champion Bobby Clay (James Roberts) won the under 17 2.5km  race by a huge margin and her sister Alex (Pete Mullervy) narrowly won the under-20  race 4km in 14:39 from her Invicta clubmate Rebecca Weston (Roberts), who ran 14:40.

In a top class senior race, European under 23 champion Jess Coulson (Mick Woods) wasn’t at her best and finished 12th in 21:37 and the leading British performance came from sub-10 steeplechaser Emily Stewart (Ian Whyte) and she finished seventh in 21:37 in the 6km event.
