Athletics is all about setting personal best performances and measuring progression. With so many young people joining athletics clubs across the country post-Olympics, the Athletics Academy provides coaches and clubs with the opportunity to reward athletes from school years 3-9 for their athletic achievement.

What are the benefits of using Academy Awards in my club?

• Use a NGB recognised scheme to measure the progression of young athletes in running, jumping and throwing activities. Academy Awards focus on the U11 and U13 reception/induction groups.

• The Award platforms offer every aspect of the sport for young athletes, acting as a motivational tool with young athletes throughout Winter and Summer months, indoors and out.

• Provide an easy to use focus for coaches delivering sessions, measuring an athlete’s personal best performance and supporting potential selection criteria for short form competition formats such as Sportshall and Quadkids competition.

• Simple, quick scheme, with downloadable resources and posters for the clubhouse.

• Athletics 365 is a holistic approach to developing an athlete in a club environment.  Academy Awards reward achievement and personal best attainment.

How do I use the Awards programme?

• Select from Track & Field, Endurance or Sportshall Awards.                                          

• Incorporate the Awards into your coaching plans, setting challenges after a period of coaching.

• Reward your athlete’s achievement with a badge and certificate, and set new challenges for young athletes.

What does it cost?

• All badges are charged at £1.00 each inc. VAT and come with a free certificate.
