Media Accreditation for 2026 events

The 2026 Novuna UK Athletics Championships 2026 are now open. Please note that applications will close on 5th June 2026.

The 2026 Novuna London Athletics Meet, part of the Wanda Diamond League at the London Stadium on Saturday 18 July 2026, is now live, and you can apply via the Diamond League Portal. Applications will close on Friday 3rd July.

Please note that any requests received after these deadlines may not be considered, and also note that UK Athletics reserves the right to decline applications for accreditation.

International Events

Birmingham 2026 – European Athletics Championships media accreditation is now open. Media representatives interested in attending and reporting on Birmingham 2026 need to contact their National Federation to express their interest. National Federations are responsible for informing and nominating media representatives.

Each National Federation will then nominate media representatives in the system. After the nomination procedure is completed, journalists and photographers will receive a registration link to finalise their accreditation process.

If you wish to apply for any European Athletics events outside the UK, you will need to apply directly to the event organisers. For World Athletics events, the national governing body will given a code for media application which you will need to contact the UKA media team for.

Photography at events
