British Athletics can confirm that Julia Bleasdale (self-coached) has transferred allegiance to Germany from Great Britain & Northern Ireland with immediate effect.

Bleasdale represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the London 2012 Olympic Games, finishing eighth in the women’s 5000m and 10,000m final.

2005 IAAF World Youth Championships 110m hurdles bronze medallist Gianni Frankis (Tony Jarrett) has transferred allegiance to Italy from Great Britain & Northern Ireland, the move coming into effect on 2 March 2016.

Also, Tsegai Tewelde Takleslasie (John MacKay) is now eligible to compete for GB.
