TRACK AND FIELD INCLUSION AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN

Public voting is now open for the inaugural Track And Field Inclusion (TAFi Awards), taking place later this year at a prestigious central London venue.

The TAFi Awards will bring together athletes, coaches, volunteers and community leaders for the first celebration dedicated to recognising the sports power of inclusion. Founded to shine a light on the people and initiatives that make athletics the most inclusive sport in the world, The TAFi Awards are more than a ceremony.

They are part of a growing movement to inspire participation, remove barriers and ensure that everyone, regardless of background, ability and circumstance, can find their place in the sport. The awards will recognise ten honourees across seven categories, including athletes at the peak of their powers, coaches who shape inclusive environments and grassroots heroes who use track and field to strengthen communities.

As voting for this year’s TAFi Awards gets underway TAFi Co-Founders Joel Campbell and Michael Facey enthused: “Track and Field has a very unique ability to unite people across cultures, abilities and generations. With TAFi we want to ensure that the incredible stories of inclusion and impact are recognised and amplified.

“The public now has the chance to help us choose the athletes, coaches and changemakers that inspire us all.”

The event will follow closely on the heels of the New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships competition and will shine a spotlight on inclusion at every level of the sport— from global competition to grassroots communities.

Jack Buckner, CEO of UK Athletics, said: “The TAFi Awards are an exciting new way to celebrate the individuals and initiatives that make track and field in the UK a welcoming and inspiring experience for all, at every level. Celebrating individuals who champion inclusive values, broaden access, and empower diverse communities.

“We’re committed to embedding these into everything we do at UK Athletics—ensuring our organisation and our sport truly reflect the society we serve. I encourage everyone to get involved by casting their vote and recognising the people who are shaping the future of athletics.”
