Track and Field Rater

Track & Field Rater

UK Athletics is encouraging athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators to help shape the future of track and field facilities through the Track & Field Rater (TFR).

The online tool has been developed to provide a simple and anonymous way for facility users to share their experiences of track and field venues and equipment across the UK.

Feedback submitted through the TFR complements the existing TrackMark accreditation process, helping UKA build a more detailed picture of facility quality, performance and safety between formal inspections, which take place every three years.

Maintaining and improving track and field facilities requires collaboration between venue operators and the people who use them every day. The Track & Field Rater provides an opportunity for the athletics community to contribute valuable insight by highlighting what works well, identifying areas that could be improved and raising any safety concerns.

Information gathered through the platform will support constructive conversations with venue operators, recognising good practice and helping to inform future maintenance, investment and development decisions. Where safety concerns are identified, venue operators will be notified and, where appropriate, asked to take action.

The Track & Field Rater is designed to capture feedback from all facility users. While athletes are central to the process, UKA is equally keen to hear from coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators. The broader the range of feedback received, the more comprehensive the picture of facility provision across the country.

The Track & Field Rater can be accessed online via the link below. QR codes will also be available at participating facilities, allowing users to provide feedback quickly and easily while on site.
