The COO has direct responsibility for the following:

• To manage and lead the coordination and performance of agreed day-to-day operational functions of the organisation including governance action planning, performance team business support, information technology, human resources, development oversight, commercial partnerships, safeguarding, clean athletics and rules of competition.
• To shape and implement the operational plan for UK Athletics.
• Plan, direct, and oversee the company’s strategic and operational policies, procedures, rules, initiatives.
• Consistently maintaining the service quality and communications with broader partners.
