From the success of London 2012, to hosting the best ever World Athletics Championships in 2017, to inspire our athletes on the road to the Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond, it takes a passionate team to continue to make athletics Britain’s favourite and most successful Olympic and Paralympic sport. With the support of our valued partners, and the fantastic contributions of our volunteers and officials, UK Athletics looks to employ committed individuals to coach and support our World Class Athletes, as well as to promote athletics and stage great global major events.

We have ambitious plans to win more medals, to stage great events, to increase participation to build an athletic nation to make the country proud. We aspire to be Britain’s best Olympic and Paralympic Sport in everything we do, and in return we intend to make working for UK Athletics a world class experience.

UK Athletics employs expert individuals across many disciplines:

  • Coaching and Support staff to World Class Performance Programme Athletes.
  • Clean Athletics.
  • Coaching and Officials education and development.
  • Athlete development pathways, working in conjunction with the Home Country Athletics Federations, while supporting the next generation of talent.
  • Competitions, Events and International Relations.
  • Marketing, Commercial Sales and Sponsor Management.
  • Central operation functions including Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Human Resources and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

UK Athletics, England Athletics and Scottish Athletics have been recognised nationally for their commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. Each organisation has achieved the Advanced Level of the Equality Standard for Sport, which is the highest level given by the Sports Council Equality Group, consisting of the five Sports Councils in the UK
