ABOUT THE RACE
Who can take part?
This 5km race is exclusively designed for women, as we aim to inspire and encourage more women to take up running. By creating a space that is solely dedicated to women, we hope to provide a supportive environment where they can embrace the numerous physical and mental health advantages running brings.
The course
The run is 5km starting on the Track in the London 2012 Olympic Stadium. The course is one lap along a flat, smooth course, around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the terrain being a mix of Mondo & tarmac. The run will finish in the Stadium so it’s perfect for your sprint finish!

Please note: 1hr 15 minutes has been allocated for this race. At 10:45 the race will stop as event operations begin for The London Athletics Meet.

It’s not just hundreds of runners that are heading to the iconic London Stadium on 23rd July; some of the biggest stars of recent Olympic Games and World Championships will be there too for the London Athletics Meet.
British stars who will be competing at the event include Olympic, world and European medallist, Dina Asher-Smith, reigning world 1500m champion Jake Wightman, and Olympic Silver medallist Kelly Hodgkinson who this month broke the British 800m record at the Paris Diamond League.

Is there a bag drop?
Yes, small handbags and rucksacks no larger than A4 (30cm x 20cm x 20cm) will be allowed.
When will I receive my results?
Will be emailed out to you via the email you supplied at the time of registration following the event.
Can I bring spectators?
There will be dedicated areas around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for spectators to watch. Spaces will be limited, so we suggest bringing a maximum of 2 spectators with you.
