UKA has exclusive Jurisdiction over licensed coaches and officials. England Athletics has jurisdiction over athletes and clubs.
Under UKA welfare policy and procedures, it is envisaged that in certain circumstances, UKA would have the lead with the statutory agencies (police, local safeguarding children boards, children services) and exercise disciplinary jurisdiction. It may also, at the end of an enquiry if the circumstances merit it, defer that jurisdiction to England Athletics.
UKA or England Athletics may publish details of any disciplinary action taken, compliance matter, or dispute resolution. This includes publication of any decision made by the Case Management Group, Disciplinary Committee, or Arbitral panel where a Complaint is upheld or in any Dispute or Appeal where the matter has been put into the public domain.
