The 2009 UKA Officials Conference will be held at the St John’s Hotel, Solihull on Sunday 19th April 2009.  A maximum number of 300 officials can be catered for and UKA is encouraging officials at all levels to attend.

The conference speakers have been confirmed as Terry Colton – 2012 Athletics Competition Manager and Geoff Wightman, CEO of Scottish Athletics and Chairman of RunBritain.

There will be a series of workshops from Grassroots through to National level officiating, for both Endurance and Track and Field Officials.

UKA is pleased to confirm that the 2009 Conference will be free to attend.  Registration will be open shortly and UKA will contact all officials with a registered email address with information on how to register.  Information will also be posted on the UKA website and will be sent to the Home Country Officials Communication Forum and County Officials Secretaries.
