Tickets for the 2016 British Athletics Events are now on sale, with five events from February to July welcoming the world’s best athletes to the UK ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro this summer.

The New Year starts in style, with Glasgow hosting one of the most prestigious indoor athletics meets in the world.  The Emirates Arena will welcome some of the biggest names in track and field for the Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix on 20 February 2015. A week later, Britain’s best go head-to-head over two action packed days, in a battle to be crowned national champion at the Indoor British Championships in Sheffield.

The summer kicks off on June 4 when the world’s best descend on the West Midlands for the first of two visits to the UK of the IAAF Diamond League. Last year, 10 Olympic champions and 27 world champions lined up at the Birmingham Diamond League and the stars are set to return as their preparation begins for a busy summer ahead. 

On 24-26 June, the Alexander Stadium will open its doors once again as the stars of British Athletics bid for the outdoor title at The British Championships. With the event doubling up as the Olympic Trials, athletes will be determined to secure their spot on the plane for Rio. 

Finishing the season with a bang, just before they head off to Rio for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, with a three-day Anniversary Games spectacular at the Olympic Stadium.  The Anniversary Games has welcomed the likes of Usain Bolt, Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Hannah Cockroft, Greg Rutherford and David Weir in recent years and a stellar line-up is expected once again as the build up to Rio 2016 reaches the final stages. 

Fans can secure their tickets across all fixtures with prices starting from just £15 per adult and £10 per concession.
