UK Athletics is now able to provide an update on the UK Athletics members representative’s nominations process following this notice in October (https://www.uka.org.uk/news/news-and-features/uk-athletics-members-nominations-open/)

The process for nominations for the three representative positions closed on Friday 5 November.

• Track and Field Clubs Representative – This position received two nominations and therefore an election process will commence tomorrow (Wednesday 17 November)

• Off-Track Club Representative – Regrettably there were no nominations for this position. However, if individuals are interested in getting involved then please look out for and put yourself forward in future Nomination processes.

• Senior Coach Representative –  There was one eligible nomination for this position. It should be noted that any coaches with their coaching licenses currently suspended on either a temporary or permanent basis are not permitted to receive or support a Nomination in accordance with the long standing UKA Members election rules in this area. All coaches with a temporary suspension were notified in writing of this position during the nomination window.

The names of the successful candidates taking representative positions will be confirmed following the AGM on 17 December.
