Fourteen Brits have been selected to face the world’s best this weekend in the World Athletics Final in Stuttgart.

UK Athletics Performance Director Dave Collins said: "It is heartening to see so many GB athletes competing in Stuttgart this weekend.

"Fourteen Brits taking part after four were involved last year shows that our athletes are certainly moving in the right direction.

"Having said that, we all know there is still a lot more work to do and with the Beijing Olympics beckoning, we cannot afford to sit back."
