UK Athletics continues to work with The Hive College, Wilson Stuart School offering six-week work placements for young adults with a disability or learning difficulties. So far, UK Athletics has welcomed four students from The Hive, with the latest addition – Anthony – joining the Major Events team during November and December.

Anthony joined the events team and fitted in immediately with huge enthusiasm, taking on several tasks within the team.  

When asked about his experience, he said “I think that I have enjoyed it at the Alexander Stadium. The people that I have met have been amazing and easy to get along with. I found some jobs hard, but I was able to do them. So, I just think that this is a brilliant place to work in. This is my first time ever working in an office and I have loved every second of it.”
