As outlined in the UK-wide Coaching strategy which was launched on Wednesday, UK Athletics and the Home Countries Athletics Federations (HCAFs) are seeking to appoint external coaching experts to work with the newly-established advisory panels.

The panels will cover the areas of children, combined events, endurance, jumps, para, sprints & hurdles and throws to advise across areas of development including coaching, education, competitions and facilities.

The advisory panels, which will meet four times a year, are responsible for supporting the development and implementation of agreed priorities in the coaching strategic plan with the aim of increasing the standard of coaching and athlete performances in the event / area.

We are keen to hear from coaches who have the time, knowledge and expertise required to assist us in driving the strategy forward by contributing to one of the seven Advisory Panels.
