The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund is encouraging young track and field athletes who are in education and may need financial help towards training or provision of equipment to submit their application for a grant.

With just four days left to submit your application, applicants must be aged between 15 and 23 years, medalists from their National Schools AA, AAA U17, & U20 or U23 Championships or in the top six of the appropriate UK ranking lists.

Do you think you could join the ranks of Greg Rutherford, Christine Ohuruogu, Goldie Sayers, Sophie Hitchon, Richard Buck, Abdul Buhari, Laura Weightman or Robbie Grabarz, but need a little financial help?

For more information, athletes can visit the RPMF website www.rpmf.org.uk. The Fund shall not accept any forms that are not submitted via the online process, and shall end this process at midnight on Friday 14th December 2012.

All applicants will be sent a confirmation email with a unique reference number within 48 hours of applying. Any applicants that have not received a confirmation email should apply again to ensure that their application has been received.

The selections shall be made in December, and successful applicants shall be informed at the beginning of January 2013.
