Julien Raffalli is coach to Katie Byres, the newly crowned UK junior indoor record holder who is now targeting the outdoor mark set by her training partner Holly Bleasdale (also coached by Raffalli) who is the UK senior record holder and 2011 European Under-23 Champion.

He wrote this blog just prior to an outstanding weekend for his athletes but has added in their brilliant results as a footnote – so read it as it happened below!
