BOA Board Appointments

UKA Chief Executive Niels de Vos was today re-elected to the board of the British Olympic Association. De Vos, has already served a two year term as a representative from the 26 summer and 7 winter governing bodies and today colleagues from those sports voted for him to extend that for a further four years, taking his tenure to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

De Vos said: "I am delighted to have been re-elected by my fellow Olympic Chief Executives to continue in my role as NGB representative on the BOA Board and I would like to thank them for again placing their faith in me. It is an honour to be able to represent the interests of every single Olympic sport including my own, athletics.

"I hope I can continue to make a significant contribution to our Olympic aspirations for 2012 and beyond.
