British Athletics today announced that the British Athletics European Trials and UK Championships will be streamed online for the first time, giving athletics fans from across the country the opportunity to watch the action live from the EIS-Sheffield on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th February.

Nearly 400 athletes from all over the UK will be competing for a British Indoor title and the chance to pull on the GB & NI vest at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg at the beginning of March.

The live stream, supported by My Protein, will give athletics fans the chance to watch some of the biggest names in Britain including Olympic 400m silver medallist Christine Ohuruogu, Olympic high jump bronze medallist, Robbie Grabarz and Olympic pole vault finalist Holly Bleasdale.

British Athletics’ Head of Competition, Cherry Alexander said:

“There’s been a lot of interest in the event from fans, coaches and athletes, so it was a natural decision for us to stream the action live, and give people from all over the country the chance to watch some of the biggest names in British athletics compete in one of our most competitive indoor championships.”
