UK Athletics invites Team Coaches, Therapist, Soft Tissue/Massage Therapist and Doctors to complete the online expression of interest survey for those who wish to fulfil the role of Great Britain & Northern Ireland Team Support Staff in 2019.

The expression of interest will be open from Friday 19^th October 2018 – Friday 30 November 2018.

The expression of interest does not ask you to submit any documentation; this will be done during the shortlist process.

The selection process will consist of a series of stages:

• Complete the online expression of by 30 November
• Acknowledgement by email if you are shortlisted by 14th December
• Allocation of competitions by 28th January.

Skills & Qualification Required

Coach

• UKA Level 2 Coaching qualification / Athletic Coach
• Knowledge and experience of the developing athlete and the high performance/major championship environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• As a minimum over 12 months previous experience as a team coach either at a regional/county level.

Doctor

• GMC registered – registration number required
• Proof of qualification
• Proof of liability and any extra sports premiums
• Advanced sports trauma certificate
• Current valid DBS

Physiotherapist

• CSP registered – Membership number required
• HCPC registered – Membership number required
• Proof of qualification
• Valid DBS
• Proof of liability insurance and any extra sports premiums
• Advanced sports trauma certificate (to be considered for lone working with squad)

Sports therapist / massage therapist

• Governing body registration
• Proof of qualification
• Valid DBS
• Proof of liability insurance and any extra sports premiums
