Olympian Daniel Awde is in the sixteen-strong Aviva Great Britain and Northern Ireland Team for the Combined Events U23/U20 International at Watford on 25-26 July. Awde was 21st in the decathlon at last year’s Beijing Games.

Watford will be the 21 year old’s first attempt at a full decathlon since his withdrawal from May’s Multistars competition in Italy after no-heighting in the pole vault. As well as GB&NI, the international match will include teams from Switzerland and France.
