Following on from the exciting news that the British Athletics London Grand Prix is set to be staged at the Olympic Stadium in July, those who have already bought tickets for Crystal Palace need to be aware of the following information:

Those holding tickets for the event originally planned for Crystal Palace will begin receiving a refund from Ticketmaster shortly.  This is because it is not possible to transfer the tickets that have been already purchased for Crystal Palace across to the new venue.

However, those ticketholders will receive the first opportunity to purchase seats at the Olympic Stadium when the tickets go on sale, with a special priority booking period taking place ahead of pre-sale and general sale. To say thank you for your ongoing support, you will be able to purchase equivalent standard tickets at the same price you paid for your Crystal Palace seats.

Why is the event no longer at Crystal Palace? 
To mark the one year anniversary of the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Games, the British Athletics London Grand Prix will take place in the Olympic Stadium during the same weekend in July.

Will I be refunded for the Crystal Palace tickets I have purchased, when will this be? 
Yes, you will be refunded in full for the tickets you have purchased for Crystal Palace. You will receive a refund from Ticketmaster shortly.

Will I be refunded booking, postage and delivery fees as well as my Crystal Palace tickets? 
Yes, Ticketmaster will be refunding the ticket costs, service charges and programme if applicable. Ticketmaster will also refund postage and delivery costs for those who purchased Crystal Palace tickets only.

How will I be refunded if I no longer have that card and/or account that I purchased Crystal Palace tickets on? 
Ticketmaster have an automated service, if a payment does bounce back they will contact you straight away. Otherwise, you may call Ticketmaster direct on 0844 499 9999.

I have purchased Crystal Palace tickets, however when will I receive an e-mail regarding priority purchase for the Olympic Stadium? 
You will receive notification for priority purchase via e-mail in due course.

Am I able to purchase tickets for the Olympic Stadium at the same price as I purchased for Crystal Palace? 
You will be able to purchase equivalent standard tickets at the same price you paid for your Crystal Palace seats.

Is there a maximum amount of tickets I can purchase when tickets are available via priority purchase? 
Maximum amount of tickets you can purchase will be confirmed when tickets go on sale.

I can’t get to the Olympic Stadium and only wanted to attend Crystal Palace, what do I do? 
You will automatically receive a ticket refund from Ticketmaster. We will also make sure you receive notice of any future priority booking periods for athletics events at Crystal Palace.

When will the event timings be confirmed so I can make travel and/or accommodation plans? 
The British Athletics London Grand Prix schedule and provisional timings will be available when tickets go on sale.

I had not purchased Crystal Palace tickets – when will I get my chance to buy? 
Priority for the Olympic Stadium tickets will be given firstly to those who had already purchased tickets at Crystal Place.  The pre-sale booking period will then open to those within the sport and those who have previously registered with us for early bird and priority booking opportunities. Following the pre-sale, tickets will go on general sale to the public and other interested parties.

What will the tickets cost? 
Ticket prices have not yet been released. The on-sale date will be announced soon.
