Jaeger Partnership

30 November 2009

UKA, the governing body for athletics in the UK, today announced a four-year partnership with Jaeger, the iconic British fashion brand.

Jaeger will reward international athletics medallists with formal wear from the fashion house’s seasonal collection and provide business wear for UKA’s key board members.

Niels de Vos, UKA Chief Executive, said: “To be associated with a premium British brand such as Jaeger further enhances UKA’s status as the number one Olympic and Paralympic sport. Medallists often receive formal invitations and our new partnership with Jaeger will ensure they look stylish at every major social event."

Belinda Earl, Jaeger Group Chief Executive, comments: "As a British brand celebrating our 125th anniversary Jaeger is delighted to be working with such a leading organisation as UKA and supporting our athletes in the international arena."

2009 World Championship medallists attending the UKA Awards Dinner, to be held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on 5 December, will be the first athletes to benefit from the partnership, attending the event in Jaeger formalwear.
