In what was a great weekend for Great Britain’s athletes, the men achieved their 5th European Cup win, meaning the Bruno Zauli trophy was back in British hands for the first time since their victory in 2000 at Gateshead.

And Britain’s eight winners from the weekend – among them Phillips Idowu, Marlon Devonish and Nicola Sanders will now set their sights on Birmingham in three weeks time and qualification for this year’s Olympic Games.
