Six athletes have been selected to represent Great Britain & Northern Ireland at the forthcoming 2015 European Race Walking Cup on 17 May in Murcia.

The experienced duo of Tom Bosworth (coach: Andi Drake) and Jo Atkinson (Maureen Jackson) lead the charges on the senior front with selection in the 20km. Two years ago in Dudince, Bosworth, the 5km British record holder, finished in 31st position. The 25 year-old heads to Spain in excellent form following his win in Hillingdon – his fourth national 20km title.

There are junior 10km picks for Cameron Corbishley (Chris Hobbs), Guy Thomas (Peter Selby), Callum Wilkinson (Mick Graham) and Emma Achurch (Steve Arnold). 2015 has been a breakthrough year for Leicester athlete Achurch, a debut 20km at the British Race Walking Championships last weekend resulted in a national junior record of 1:45.29.
