Talented teenagers Liam Biddlecombe and Laura Samuel have collected a special bonus prize after their performances at last weekend’s McCain JumpsFest and ThrowsFest in Birmingham.

The duo collected £500 each as reward for being ‘Best Male and Female Performances’. 16 year old Biddlecombe (Shaftesbury Barnet) set a PB in the discus of 54.24m to the top of the Power of Ten men’s under 17 rankings.

Samuel (Birchfield Harriers), 18, triple jumped 12.98m, the fourth furthest distance ever by a British junior.
