On the eve of GB & NI athletes undergoing their ultimate test on the biggest stage of all in Berlin at the IAAF World Championships, the team has been finalising their preparations in Monte Gordo, Portugal.  

Overseas competition activity has slowed down, however many of our next generation athletes who may well be vying for 2012 and beyond were out in force setting championship bests and personal best performances. The following are the selected highlights:
