British Athletics colleagues have been saddened to hear of the loss of two long term servants of the sport in recent days.

Mike Dolby, 75, – a former UK Athletics high jump coach until 2002 and recipient of the UK and England Athletics club award for services to Coaching Development in 2007, is survived by his wife and two daughters.

His funeral is on Wednesday 21st December at 11am at the Robin Hood Crematorium in Solihull. The family will welcome anyone from the athletics family who wishes to attend.

Sadly, Dave Cropper died on Saturday 3rd December 2016 from a very short but serious illness.

Dave was a former Chairman of Midland Counties, former Chairman of AAA and current Chairman of the AAA Charity for the Young and an Olympian.  Thoughts and sympathy are with his wife Pat, family and friends.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been confirmed.
