Minichiello Bound For IFAC

25 September 2009

Toni Minichiello, coach to World Championships heptathlon gold medallist Jessica Ennis (Berlin 2009), will be in Glasgow to lead the Heptathlon programme at the International Festival of Athletics Coaching (IFAC), to be held in Glasgow from Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November

Minichiello, who continues to enjoy an excellent relationship with the European Athletics Coaches Association (EACA), will work with the ‘Elite’ coach delegates and is expected to reflect on the journey  – with Ennis – to Berlin gold.

Meanwhile the organising team regret to announce that due to ill health, Fitz Kholman, who was due to present, will now not be able to travel to Scotland.

Remaining delegate places are very limited and all enquiries should be addressed to the booking hotline on 00 44 (0)131 476 7328.

For more information on the IFAC, including an updated timetable, check out the event website:  www.ifacscotland.co.uk

All delegates who have booked onto the conference are asked to provide workshop preferences and flight details to the organising team by no later than Friday 2nd October.

By now, every delegate will have received a pro-forma asking them to nominate their optional workshop choices. This information has been requested by Friday 2 October in order that the final programme can be confirmed.

An updated version of the programme can be found on the event website above.

In addition, delegates wishing to benefit from the courtesy transport shuttles from/to Glasgow International Airport must also provide their arrival and departure flight details.

Details must be submitted to anne.stewart@scottishathletics.org.uk again no later than Friday 2 October 2009. Details received after this time are not guaranteed to be catered for, as space on the shuttles is strictly limited.
