UK Athletics has confirmed a further 21 athletes in the second and final wave of selections for the Norwich Union Great Britain and Northern Ireland team for the European Indoor Athletics Championships, which get underway on Friday 2 March.

Highlights from the team selections include confirming full squads for the relay events, which will close the Championships in two straight finals on Sunday afternoon.

James Brewer (800m) and Amy Harris (Long Jump) join their 2006 World Junior Championships team mate Ryan Scott (60m) to make their Senior Great Britain & Northern Ireland team debut in front of a home crowd in Birmingham.

Rob Tobin is selected for the individual 400m following an impressive victory at the NIA a week ago. Two athletes coached by Malcolm Arnold at the University of Bath training group will join him, Dale Garland and Steven Green.

Joice Maduaka and Montell Douglas join Jeanette Kwakye in the 60m, and Emma Duck is rewarded for her good form setting a personal best at the Norwich Union Grand Prix to be chosen for the individual 400m alongside Nicola Sanders.
