Dave Webb (Leeds City) will pull on a GB vest as part of the Norwich Union GB team in the Chiba Ekiden, following the withdrawal of Jon Brown through injury.

Webb, who recorded excellent stages at the recent National Cross Country  and Road Relays will take part in the main relay race, whilst Stephen Hepples (Newham and Essex Beagles) will step in as travelling reserve and take part in the 5000m track race.

The changes leave the team as follows:
