“I wish British Athletics all the best in the future.”

British Athletics Performance Director Neil Black said:

“On behalf of British Athletics I would like to place on record our thanks to John who has been a great support to the endurance programme in recent years and leaves it in very good health.

“We wish him well in what is obviously a very exciting opportunity.”
