UKA were both frustrated and disappointed to see a number of events for athletes with high support needs excluded from the Paris Paralympic Games medal event programme published by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) last Friday.

Having received further correspondence from World Para Athletics (WPA) we have made a formal request for information as to how we appeal the decisions and have fed back further information to each of the reasons outlined. We will be continuing our dialogue with WPA and the IPC in the coming days in relation to the announcement made.
