The Great Britain Jumps International took place in Lee Valley on Wednesday, with the country’s top domestic jump talent using the opportunity to test themselves against international competition.

Highlights included:

An impressive personal best for Jade Ive (Sutton & District) of 3.95 in the pole vault, whilst Gillian Cooke (Edinburgh AC) beat GB rival Amy Harris (Birchfield Harriers) in the long jump.

Junior Erin Leggate (Victoria Park) performed well with a PB 1.80m to take second in the women’s high jump ahead of fellow Brit Jessica Leach.

Junior athlete Scott Huggins (Blackheath & Bromley) set a PB and a Scottish Junior record in coming 4^th in the men’s pole vault, behind fellow brit Christian North (Woodford Green with Essex Ladies) in third.
