Power Of 10 In The Pink

Another innovation is launched on the Power of 10 website today to make the statistics easier to follow. New information will appear in pink so that the latest details stand out from the mass of data.

The intention is to help you see at a glance the latest weekend’s performances as the information on Power of 10 continues to grow at a spectacular rate.

Even though the 2007 track and field season has yet to start, there are already 27,500 performances by 8,700 UK athletes logged on Power of 10.

Of those, 8,100 athletes are ranked at national and/or regional levels. More than 20,000 rankings are already shown on Power of 10 for 2007.

Compared with the pilot site in 2006, there are 3,000 more athletes now than at the corresponding time last year as Power of 10 sets out to detail the state of the nation’s athletics standards on the way to London 2012 and beyond.

And watch out for Power of 10’s next major step forward … all of the targets for 2007 will be revealed on Wednesday 18 April. That is when you will discover what you have to do this year to be on the step ladder to future success!
